Code of Conduct

Our reputation is one of our key assets and must be safeguarded. As a fast growing company it is our aim but also challenge to maintain our values throughout the group. The Marquard & Bahls Code of Conduct comprises 16 principles structured in four chapters. These chapters are:

  • Business & Finance
  • Safeguarding
  • Integrity
  • People
The principles are meant to provide a consistent horizon of values and guidance of what Marquard & Bahls stands for and how we should behave when interacting with others. We want to make our employees aware of possible conflicting interests and encourage responsible decision making. In the section “Compliance with the Code” we describe our internal Whistleblowing System for the reporting of violations.

The Marquard & Bahls Code of Conduct was translated into 18 languages and distributed to all our employees.

The code of Conduct has been printed climate-neutrally (COB-34807/2010) and can be downloaded here in PDF format in various languages.
